FILM REVIEW: WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

“Where Do We Go From Here” is a well-written and directed personal drama that does a fantastic job at accomplishing a three act narrative in a short film format without feeling incomplete.

Ewan Manley’s script recalls the romantic dramas of the early nineties - but with modern day aesthetics and sensibility.  Director Alberto Nunes presents this story of a young man named Dean, a convenience store clerk going through the pains of a shattered romance who by happenstance meets a quirky young lady that helps him see the light at the end of the tunnel.  The chemistry between the two leads, played by Manley and Cece Kelley,  is electric.  The film skirts along the lines of ambiguity, making it memorable and thought provoking.

“Where Do We Go From Here” is screening at the First Annual Zepstone Festival on June 17th. See schedule and tickets here.
